In 2003, our firm was founded in Houston, Texas, when Tim McCloskey and John Roberson began practicing law together. Tim and John both previously worked for large litigation firms and decided to join forces to have more autonomy over their practices, which continued to focus on contingent fee, commercial litigation. Rusty Woolley joined them in 2012 and expanded the firm’s practice area to bankruptcy-related litigation.

In 2020, the firm was renamed McCloskey Roberson Woolley, PLLC. Each of the attorneys are seasoned practitioners with experience in all types of commercial and bankruptcy-related litigation. They have a passion for the law and for helping their clients. They strive to provide not only wise, practical counsel but also have the experience and know-how for any litigation battle whether in state court, federal court, or arbitration.

At MRW, clients get lawyers with big-firm experience combined with down-to-earth sensibilities who understand the need for practical solutions to today’s legal matters. By using our experience and track record of hard work, dedicated advocacy, and professionalism we provide the highest quality legal representation to our clients.
